How Site Protection Works
The package declares access to 31 specific HTTPS hosts for the AI services above. Site switches control protection, not browser permission. Use the browser extension site-access settings to restrict host access. Arbitrary websites are not supported by this candidate.
When an AI site changes its page layout, protection may need an update. Live ChatGPT behavior was checked in Edge for this candidate. Other adapters have historical fixture coverage; the list does not certify every current live-site layout.
What Is Checked On These Sites
The same local detectors run on every supported site: API keys and tokens (including GitLab), cloud credentials (including AWS secret access keys and Azure SAS tokens), personal and financial identifiers, record IDs, internal URLs, confidential business language, and any custom sensitive terms you add in Settings.
Expanding Coverage
The goal is broad AI-site coverage, but the public website will only claim sites that are tested. New sites will be added in batches so users can trust the list.
Current Limits
- Protection runs in the browser, not inside desktop or mobile apps.
- Unsupported AI sites are not checked yet.
- A site can change and need a protection update.
- Upload inspection is a Plus feature. Readable text can be inspected locally; compressed, incomplete, image and unsupported files require review.
